Participating in Golf Tournament Fundraiser to Benefit MSA Research

On August 23rd, the team for Custom Remodelers, Inc. will participate for their fifth year in the Jean Danna Memorial Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Research at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

The tournament, which will take place at the Indian Hills Country Club in Stillwater, MN, was founded in memory of Jean Danna, who was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in the final years of her life and lost her battle with the disease in 2001. MSA is a rare progressive neurological disorder similar to Parkinson’s disease; a degenerative condition of the brain and spinal cord, MSA causes its victims to lose control of their ability to coordinate voluntary movements and suffer from impairment of the nervous system. Although the cause of MSA is unknown, researchers at the Mayo Clinic are uncovering new insights that lead them closer to a cure every year. 100% of contributions to the golf tournament will go to the MSA research team.
Participation in the Jean Danna Memorial Golf Tournament is just one example of the company’s long-standing commitment to giving back to the community. For more information about this event, please visit The Official Jean Danna Memorial Golf Tournament website.
