I recently received an estimate on a new roof from your company. Being able to meet with your sales representative on my odd schedule was no problem for him and a great help to me. I was quite impressed with the sales representative and how he could answer my questions in terms I could understand. Financing the project was a breeze, you did the leg work. Again meeting with my schedule. A month barely passed when the job was started. The roofers assured me that everything would be cleaned up and washed up when they finished. Your employees are very courteous and hard working men. Having to deal with rain, wind, and heat they were able to complete the job in a week.

A job very well done.

Dear Sirs:

I am taking this opportunity to thank Custom Remodelers, Inc. for the job you did on my house and garage. Ryan met with me and presented some options that I could do to improve my residence. He did an excellent job and the project was started when he said it would be. I know that he also gave me a great deal on cost. I much appreciate it.

I also wish to say that the crew that actually did the job headed by Byron did OUTSTANDING work. He has instilled in his crew the importance of paying attention to detail. In addition, Byron did little things like driving personally to a hardware store to get a new doorbell for me that he said had dried out. The old doorbell still worked find so I was unaware that it could have failed. Byron’s crew has literally made my home maintenance-free. And it looks fantastic!

I shall certainly recommend CRI to anyone who asks.

I want you to know how pleased I am with the work Hayden and Wally did replacing the gutters on the rear of my house. The house is 90 (plus) years old and the gutters appeared to have had two or three poor renovations. However, the fellows seemed to know what to do with each new discovery, and finally ended up with a job you would be proud of.

If someone had told me one year ago that on this day in the year 2001 I would be enjoying a brand new look – the outside of our home exhibiting a gorgeous new “outfit”, I would have thought them insane!

Our thanks to the initial contact, whoever it was, and to JUSTIN and MARIO, the salesmen who came and talked to my husband Dave and I about CRI, and to many others, especially “RON” and his crew for the beautiful job they did!

From the time we signed the contract, CRI has lived up to every promise they made to us. Maybe it is because we are all midwesterners and we have a certain work ethic and unwavering high moral code nurtured into us… but actually, I suspect that CRI is SIMPLY THE BEST! I am convinced that your siding products are absolutely high grade and that your sales people truly know what they are selling and they are polite and are unabashedly proud of the service you deliver!

We are also quite priviledged to have had a gentleman named “RON” direct our remodeling siding project. This man certainly knows his craft and he knows how to get a job don efficiently and with a positive attitude. Our remodelers went about they business by first removing the old siding, then measuring, cutting, fitting and installing the new diding with great skill. “WRAPPING THE WINDOWS” (a siding term) takes a good deal of figuring and adapting I was to discover.

Dave and I live on a corner lot “on the hill” in Hudson where there is a great deal of car, bicycle and people and dog traffic. Many folks stopped by to watch the work being done or to tell us “what a nice job”. At the end of each work day, everything was picked up and put away.

We moved into our brand new home in January of 1970. Now, over 30 years later it feels like we again have a brand new home! THANK YOU CRI AND “RON”. You are SIMPLY THE BEST!

I would like to make a few comments on the recent installation of a window in our house:

Our salesman Craig was great. He had a no BS approach that was refreshing after having a lot of bids from other window salesman.

The installers Wayne and Roger were true professionals. To tell the truth, I was kind of worried about someone coming in and tearing a hole in the side of my house (new window installation). These guys were able to do it with no fuss or mess. I could tell these guys were going to do it right or not at all which is reassuring. The window looks great and you can tell it wasn’t a hack job. If I were to get any more windows, I would want these two to do the job.

We are very happy with the window that your company provided and installed.

Dear Mr. Carpenter:

It’s always been a bit ‘awkward’ writing letters of ANY type to individuals’ employers. We’re pretty certain, however, you’ll enjoy reading this particular one. Just pull out a thesaurus with synonyms of ‘wow’ in it, and you’ll be set. Allow us to explain:

The lone contractor you sent to perform the not-so-trivial task of installing an entire houseful of windows (i.e. 9-plus a patio door), was Andy W. (Please forgive us – we only saw his long last name once). As we said, the overall reaction ‘short story’ version was ‘WOW’; the ‘long story’ version would require a second page.

Andy’s first day was quite busy, yet eventful, replacing almost ½ of all the windows (including replacing existing trim). The second day was much more challenging. He literally rebuilt the window frame for our front bay window from scratch, since the existing window frame was unusable. Even Bill, who envisions himself as quite the handyman, was quite impressed with Andy’s craftsmanship. On Wednesday, he installed the two ‘triple’ windows for our master bedroom and downstairs den. Thursday was once again another challenging day. He removed/installed our sides one last ‘thorn’ that’d been there for the past 4-1/2 years. Friday, he completed any remaining ‘fine-tuning’ work, including trimming the bay window and patio door.

Thanks so much, Kevin, for having sent such a capable installer as Andy! We were HIGHLY impressed with the quality of his work, his work ethic, and would be happy to recommend his services to anyone requesting a reference for him in the future!

We recently had new windows and siding put on our home by your company, Custom Remodelers, Inc. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for such a fine job and efficient install. Our windows are wonderful. The siding is great. The installers were very pleasant people, and we are very pleased with the whole process. Other than the new siding and windows, you would not have known someone was there. They left the house inside and outside in a very acceptable manner.

We recently decided to replace all the windows on the second floor of our eighteen year old house. We chose Custom Remodelers, Inc. not only because of their reputation as an industry leader, but because they had a vastly superior product and we knew that Custom Remodelers replacement windows would ultimately increase the value of our home.

The salesman, Mike Kveene, was very friendly and knowledgeable, but the most compelling factor in choosing windows from CRI was the fact that Custom Guard Supreme Series vinyl replacement windows have insulated glass and are able to block almost all of the sun’s heat penetrating the window. And since it costs more to cool a house in the summer than it does to heat a house in the winter, this window was the clear choice for us.

The CRI team works very hard to make the customer completely satisfied with the purchase and installation of their new windows. For example, when problems arose with the installation of our new windows, CRI management team worked quickly and efficiently to find a suitable solution that met our needs.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the Custom Guard Supreme Series vinyl replacement windows we purchased from Custom Remodelers, and would highly recommend it to other customers.

On Wednesday afternoon, Nov 15th, 2006 the installers completed installing the eight new replacement windows in my house. They had started on Tuesday morning, by replacing one window at a time and doing the inside wood work. On Wednesday they did the outside window work. The installation went smoothly and easier than I imaged it would, I was a happy homeowner.

My house was built in 1983, the reason to replace these windows at this time, is as follows. On the outside of each window, the corner seam was separating, I had caulked the seams several years ago, but this did not hold up, with the seasonal changes. I was seeing more moisture on the inside of the windows staring in the late fall. I had been doing the inside plastic wrap, to help with the moisture problem and stop the damage to the inside window wood work. This also helped with the small cold air drafts I was feeling from the older windows during the winter. These being crank out windows, they were getting both harder and louder to open.

I first encountered the CRI replacement windows at the State Fair and local Olmsted County Fair (I believe last year). I had a salesperson out to show me more information on their windows and get a cost estimate. I passed at the time. In September of this year, I received a call from CRI asking to see me again. I like the style and options I was shown and the available financing. I decided it was time to replace these windows.

Since my new vinyl replacement windows have been installed, I have noticed it is quieter in my house, as they have cut down on the level of outside noise that use to come through the old windows. The window tint has cut the brightness coming in which I like. I also like that they are easier and much quieter to open.

I cannot wait until next spring to take full advantage of my new replacement windows.
